Sri Sai Industries

We are tucked away at No. 51 / 28 on Poochakadu 1St Street. It’s right off Mangalam Road. Sri Sai Industries is the name we use. The street is mostly residential, so we try to be mindful of the people living next door. Our building is a simple structure with a metal roof that pings when it rains. Inside, we have our workspace set up with the basic tools we need. We spend most of our time at the benches or moving stock around. It’s not a huge place, so we have to be careful about where we put things or we run out of room fast. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. We know most of the people who walk past every day. It’s a friendly enough spot. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big office. It’s just where the work happens. We focus on getting through the pile of tasks we have for the week. Usually, we are busy from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is the only day the machines are quiet. We’ve been at this address for several years now and we like the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s a practical setup for the kind of stuff we do. We have an old clock on the wall that runs a few minutes fast. It keeps us moving. The small window in the back lets in a little light.
