Sri Poorani Garments

Sri Poorani Garments is situated at No. 14/20-A in College Pudur. We are specifically at the Karuppagoundam Palayam Pirivu area. It is a bit of a busy junction. Our place is where we handle all the garment work. There are stacks of fabric everywhere you look. We have some machines and a few people who have been with us for years. The routine is the same every day. We start early, get the tea going, and then start on the stitching. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is steady. College Pudur is a decent place to work. We have a lot of space in this building, which is good because the finished clothes take up a lot of room before they are sent out. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people just know we are here because of the address. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just use that time to organize the cutting area. We make sure the pieces are cut right. It is a lot of repetitive movement, but that's what makes the garments come out okay. The Karuppagoundam Palayam Pirivu corner is always noisy with traffic, but you get used to it after a while. We just stay inside and focus on the needles and thread. We've been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us well.
