Sri Meru Garments

You can find us at 77 Vip Garden, tucked away right behind Ambika Marbles on Kangayam Road in Nallur. It’s a decent spot because we’re close to the main road but back far enough that we don’t get all the dust from the heavy trucks passing by. Sri Meru Garments is a straightforward operation. We have a set routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We arrive, check the machines, and get started on whatever is on the schedule. The space is filled with the sound of sewing and the clatter of the iron. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. We’ve got piles of garments in different stages of being finished, and sometimes it feels like the clothes are taking over the building. The lighting is okay during the day because of the big doors, but we rely on the overhead tubes once the sun starts to dip. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. We just have people who know how to handle a garment and make sure the seams are straight. Sometimes we take our lunch outside in the shade of the building to get away from the noise for a few minutes. It’s a basic setup, but it’s ours, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. It's just a normal workshop where people work hard to get the job done.
