Sri Gurubaran Spinners Private Limited is located at No.2 in the Visalatchi Sundaram Layout over in Udumalaipettai. This is where we do all our spinning work throughout the year. The layout is a relatively quiet part of town, which is a nice change of pace when the machines aren't running. When they are, you can definitely hear them humming from down the street. We have been operating from this same spot for years. The team we have here is like a small family, and we all know each other well. We spend most of our day checking the threads and making sure the spindles are spinning exactly like they should. Udumalaipettai is a good town for this kind of industry and there is a lot of history here. Our building is a bit older, with some cracks in the pavement outside, but it serves its purpose for us. We don't really have a marketing department or anything fancy. Word of mouth usually brings folks to our door when they need something. Sometimes we have a lot of inventory piled up near the entrance, making it a bit tight to walk through the hall. We just handle things as they come. The work is steady and it keeps us busy from Monday all the way through Saturday. We like the routine of the mill. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is honest work. We are just a group of people making yarn in a quiet layout.
