Sri Amman Garments

We have been here at No. 4/258 in Selvalaxmi Nagar for quite a while now. It is a quiet spot over in Veerapandi Po Kulathupalayam, but we keep busy enough with the daily work. People usually find us easily once they get into the Nagar. Sri Amman Garments started because we knew how to handle fabric and sewing machines. It isn’t a huge factory or anything like that, just a regular place where we get things done. Some days the machines run non-stop and other days it is a bit slower while we check the stock. We don't have a fancy office or a big sign. Mostly it is just us working through the piles of cloth. The weather gets hot here in Kulathupalayam so we keep the windows open. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the cutting table gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big order. It’s just how it goes when you are working with your hands. We don’t really do any big ads or anything. People just know we are here at this address. We’ve stayed in this same spot and haven't felt the need to move. It works for us. We just focus on the garments and making sure they are stitched right before they go out the door. It is a simple life and we like being part of the neighborhood here.
