Spectro Garments

Spectro Garments is in the Glory Building at No. 15/1. We are on the second floor in the Eswaramoorhty Layout of K. V. R. Nagar, Karuvampalayam. It is a busy part of the city for making clothes. You can hear the hum of sewing machines from almost every building around here. Our floor is always covered in thread and bits of fabric by the end of the day. We spend most of our time at the cutting tables or checking the stitching on the shirts and pants we make. It is hot work, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the side of the building. We have a few fans going, but they mostly just move the warm air around the room. The layout in K. V. R. Nagar is a bit like a maze if you don't know your way around the streets. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change as more garment units open up. We don't do anything too complicated, just good solid work on the garments we are given. Usually, there are stacks of finished items waiting to be packed and sent off to the buyers. We try to keep a schedule, but sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we have to catch up later. It is just the way things are in the garment business. We keep our heads down and work.
