You can find us at 52, Pollachi Main Road. We’re right there in Kinathukadavu. Sonali Wires & Steel isn't a massive corporation; it’s just a place where we sell wire and steel parts. The road outside is always busy with people heading towards Pollachi. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the shop, so we spend a lot of time cleaning it off the counter. We have various types of wires stacked up in the back. It’s a bit of a maze back there if you don't know where things are kept. I’ve been working here for a long time, and I know where every single coil is located. We don't do anything fancy. People come in, ask for what they need, we weigh it or count it, and that’s it. Some days are very slow, and we just sit and watch the cars go by on the main road. Other days, it’s so busy we don’t even have time for lunch. We try to keep the prices fair. It’s a local business, so we know a lot of the farmers and builders around here. They stop by to chat even when they don't need to buy anything. It’s a simple life. The building is an older one, but it stays cool enough in the shade. If you’re driving down Pollachi Main Road, you’ll see our gate near the turn. Just pull in whenever we're open. We usually have a dog sleeping near the entrance. He's harmless.
