Smart Garments

You can find us at No. 1642 on P. N. Road, right by the Pooluvapatti Pirivu junction. It’s a spot where a lot of people pass through every day. Smart Garments has been sitting here for a good while. The shop isn't very big, and we have to be careful how we use the space. We’ve got piles of fabric in various colors tucked into every corner. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that work hard all day. The noise from P. N. Road is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. Our walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’d rather spend that time finishing our work. Most of our customers are locals or people who have heard about us from their neighbors. We don't do any big advertising campaigns or anything like that. It’s just us, some sewing machines, and a lot of thread. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big batch, and you can see our lights on from the road. It’s a simple life, honestly. We take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job of it. If you’re passing by the junction, you’ll see our sign. It’s been there as long as I can remember. We just keep going because it is what we know how to do best.
