Skymoon Apparel

Skymoon Apparel is based at No. 72/4 in Rasappa Gounder Garden. This is over in the Vijayapuram P O area of Nallur East, right on Kangayam Road. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot even though it's near the main road. The garden name makes it sound like a park but it's actually where our work building is located. We handle apparel and the whole place is usually full of thread and cloth scraps. Kangayam Road is a major route so we hear the buses and trucks passing by all day long. We have a small team of people who have been with us for years. The building itself is plain and we haven't done much to change it since we moved in. We prefer to just focus on the sewing and the packing. It gets quite warm in the afternoons so we usually take a break when the sun is at its highest. There isn't any fancy air conditioning here, just some ceiling fans that hum. We like being in Nallur East because it's a bit quieter than the very center of the city. People around here are friendly and we often see the same faces every morning. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny brochures. We just do the work and hope the quality is okay when the clothes reach the shops. It is a simple life here at the garden address.
