Silinco Garments

We are based at No. 1/20 in Sakthi Nagar, which is right on Poyampalayam P. N. Road. This part of town is very busy with the garment trade. You can hear machines running in almost every building nearby. Silinco Garments is just one of many, but we have our own way of doing things. Our workspace is filled with fabric rolls and threads of every color you can imagine. It gets quite dusty sometimes because of all the cotton in the air. We don't have air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that clatter a bit when they are on high speed. The workers here have been with us for a long time. We eat our lunch together in the back area where it is a bit quieter. P. N. Road is always full of lorries and bikes, so there is a constant hum of traffic. We don't worry about being the biggest or the most famous. We just want to get the orders done on time so we can go home to our families. Some days are stressful when a machine breaks down, but we usually find a way to fix it ourselves. It is a practical life and we don't have much time for fancy words or sales pitches. We just keep the needles moving and make sure the bundles are ready for the next pickup.
