Japs India Exports

We've been here at No. 39- A for a while now. The Sidco Harvey Road area gets pretty busy early in the morning with all the trucks coming in. Most days it’s just about getting the crates packed right and making sure the paperwork isn’t a mess. It’s not fancy work, just Japs India Exports doing what we do. Sometimes the heat in the warehouse gets to you, but you just keep moving. We handle a lot of different things headed overseas. It’s mostly about making sure things don't break during the long trip. My desk is usually covered in labels and shipping forms. People stop by the office and we just talk about what needs to go out next. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It's just a workspace. Some of the guys have been here since the start. We know the neighbors and the local tea shop guy well. It’s a lot of lifting and checking lists over and over. You get used to the noise of the machinery after a few hours. When the sun goes down, we finally start locking up the gates. It isn't a glamorous life, but it keeps the lights on and the goods moving where they need to go. Every day feels a bit like the last one, just different boxes and new destinations to worry about. We just take it slow and try not to make too many mistakes.
