Shri Kannan Cranes

You can find Shri Kannan Cranes out on Palladam Road. It is a wide road and we have plenty of space for the big machines we keep there. It is not a fancy office building, mostly just an open area where the cranes are parked and maintained. The sun hits the yard pretty hard during the day, so we spend a lot of time under the shade of the small shack we have on the property. Palladam Road sees a lot of heavy trucks and traffic, which fits the kind of work we do. We don't really have a lot of furniture or indoor space. Our day is mostly spent outside checking the engines and making sure the cables are in good shape. It gets quite dusty when the wind picks up but that is part of working on the road. We usually have a few people standing around talking about the next job or checking the schedules. There is no corporate vibe here at all. It is just a group of people who know how to handle big equipment. We keep a simple logbook of where the machines are going. Sometimes we stay late when a crane comes back from a long shift. Being on Palladam Road makes it easy for the big vehicles to move in and out without getting stuck in city traffic. We just focus on the machines and the work right in front of us. Most of the time we are just wearing our work clothes and boots, ready for whatever comes up next.
