Sharp Knit Fashions

Sharp Knit Fashions is located at 12 Nethaji Nagar 2nd St. We’re in the Karumarampalayam area of Mannarai. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, but we stay busy. We focus on knitted items. It’s what we know. My family has been involved in the textile world for a long time. We have a small unit here. It’s mostly about the machines and the yarn. You can hear the hum of the knitting machines from the street. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy entrance. People who need to find us usually know where we are. We spend a lot of time looking at thread counts and dye lots. It’s not very glamorous. The office is just a corner with a desk and some old chairs. We handle everything ourselves, from the raw material to the final stitch. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets a bit much, but we keep the fans going. We aren’t a huge corporation with a board of directors. It’s just a few of us making sure the quality is decent and the delivery happens on time. We take pride in the fact that we do it all ourselves. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we usually keep the curtains drawn. We focus on the work and let the results speak for themselves. That is our way.
