Sharnitha Fashions

We are based at No. 30 Thattanhottam 3rd Street, just off Palladam Road. Sharnitha Fashions is basically a small setup where we handle garment work. It’s a busy area with a lot of noise from the nearby units. We started this because we knew the trade. It’s not a big factory. It’s more of a place where we get things done. We have a few machines and some people who know how to use them well. Most of our days are spent checking samples or making sure the packing is done right. The street is narrow, so getting trucks in and out is always a bit of a struggle. We drink a lot of coffee here. It keeps us going when there are big orders to finish. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us on the floor checking fabric quality. It’s honest work. We don’t make big claims about being the leaders in anything. We just do the jobs we get. Sometimes we stay late when the deadlines are tight. The neighbors are all in the same line of work, so we help each other out with spare parts or extra hands. It’s a hardworking place. That’s just how it is on Palladam Road. We've been here for years and the fans just keep spinning through the heat. It’s a simple life making clothes for people.
