Shans Clothing Company

Shans Clothing Company is over at No. 30 Avarankadu 3rd Street, which is near Postal Colony on College Road. We have got a decent-sized space here where we handle a lot of different garment orders. The street is usually busy with people going to the college or the post office, so there is always something to see out the window. Inside, we have rows of machines and tables where we sort the fabrics. We do everything from cutting the patterns to the final packing. It is a small group of us, and we all know each other's families. We do not have a big corporate structure. If something goes wrong, we just talk it out and fix it right then. Some days are faster than others depending on how many orders we have on the books. We try to keep a stock of common materials so we do not have to wait for deliveries. The lighting in the back is not the best, but we make it work. We are not interested in being the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the clothes we produce are decent and that we can pay our workers on time. People around College Road know us as a reliable spot. We do not use fancy words to describe what we do. We just sew clothes and send them out. It is a straightforward life for all of us here. We just take it day by day.
