Shankara Exports

We have been over here at No. 4 Mariamman Layout for a while now. It is right by the Sivan Theatre on the north side. We do exports mostly. The shop is not fancy or anything, just a regular place where we get the work done. Usually, the mornings are pretty busy with people coming in and out. Sometimes the traffic near the theatre gets a bit much, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We deal with various items that need to go overseas. Most days we are just packing boxes or checking lists to make sure everything is where it needs to be. It is a lot of manual work. My brother helps out with the paperwork sometimes, and we have a couple of guys who handle the heavy stuff. We do not really do much advertising because people usually find us through word of mouth or just seeing the sign when they walk past the layout. It is a steady kind of life. We focus on getting things shipped out on time without making too much of a fuss about it. If the weather is good, we keep the doors open to let some air in. People in the neighborhood know us as the place that is always got some activity going on. We just try to keep things moving along. Nothing too complicated, just a small business trying to do its part in the community here. It has been like this for a long time.
