Selvakumar Apparels

Our place, Selvakumar Apparels, is located at No. 4/370 in Pappa Nagar. We are on the 1st street, just off Cotton Mill Road. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but it’s a good spot for us. We do apparel work here, which means there is almost always the sound of sewing machines running in the background. It’s a small operation with a handful of people who live nearby. The building is just a simple concrete structure, nothing special to look at from the outside. We have a couple of large tables for cutting fabric and racks where we hang the finished pieces. The street outside is usually quiet, except when the school kids are walking home in the afternoon. We’ve been here for several years now. Sometimes the fabric deliveries are late, which messes up our schedule, but we just work a bit later to catch up. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find me or one of the guys moved a chair to sit near the door for some fresh air. It’s a hardworking environment, but we keep it friendly. We just focus on getting the stitching right and finishing the orders on time for the people who buy from us. We close on Sundays to get some rest and spend time with family.
