Original Knit Exports Tiruppur

Our place is located in the Muthusamy Industrial Complex, over in Colony Sector 26 here in Tiruppur. If you know this area, you know it’s always humming with the sound of knitting machines and people moving loads of fabric. We spend most of our daylight hours surrounded by heaps of yarn and finished shirts. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually keep the big fans running all day long. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy meetings and polished reports. We’re mostly just busy checking the knit quality and making sure the packing is done before the transport arrives. The Muthusamy complex has been our home for quite a while now. Some of the guys have been with us since we started. We share tea in the mornings and talk about the local news before the shift starts. It’s a bit dusty, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the work is honest. We handle a lot of exports, so there are always boxes stacked up high near the loading dock. Sometimes the Sector 26 traffic makes it hard for the trucks to get in, but we make it work. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just run the machines, count the pieces, and get the orders out. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living in Tiruppur. We just keep our heads down and work.
