Seaisland Cotton Synthetic Textiles

We are located down at 118A in the Nathan Compound, which is pretty close to the Shanthi Theatre on P.N. Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a hub for textiles. At Seaisland Cotton Synthetic Textiles, we spend our days dealing with various fabrics, both natural and man-made. It’s a dusty job sometimes, but someone has to do it. The warehouse is usually full of rolls of cloth and different types of yarn. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know our way around different threads and weaves. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time checking quality and making sure orders are packed right. People come to us when they need specific types of cotton or synthetic blends for their own projects. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. The shop floor is always a bit noisy with the sounds of moving materials and people talking. It’s just how it is in this part of town. P.N. Road is always busy, and the Nathan Compound is no exception. We just try to keep up with the demand and stay organized. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving stuff around. We like being part of the local textile community here. It’s a simple business, really. We just provide the fabrics people ask for and try not to make things more complicated than they need to be.
