Sastika Garments

Sastika Garments is tucked away near Rakkiyapalayam Pirivu. We are right off Kangayam Road, which is always full of trucks and bikes. Our space is filled with the smell of new cloth and the sound of machines running. We aren't a big factory or anything. It is just a handful of us working together. Most of the day is spent checking the seams and making sure the piles of garments are neat. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we find ways to enjoy it. We share stories and drink some tea while we work. The building isn't brand new, but it serves us well enough. We don't have a marketing team or someone writing fancy stuff for us. I’m just writing this because we need an about us page. We see the same faces every day around the junction. The weather here can be quite hot in the afternoons, so we have a couple of fans that never stop spinning. It’s a simple setup. We take the orders as they come and try to stay on top of the pile. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment needs to go out. That is just how the garment business works. We don't complain much. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done.
