Sasti Fashions

We are over here at M.C. Nagar in Vijayapuram. Sasti Fashions is just a small place along Kangayem Road. Most days it gets pretty busy with the traffic passing by outside. We spend our time looking at clothes and making sure everything is ready for people who stop in. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular spot with some tables and racks. Sometimes the power goes out but we just keep going. People know us around Maniyakarampalayam because we’ve been here a while now. We handle a lot of different pieces every week. It gets dusty sometimes with all the fabric moving around. My cousin helps out when things get backed up. We don't really do much advertising. People just find us or hear about us from their neighbors. It’s mostly just hard work and staying late to finish the orders. The morning sun hits the front door quite hard, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down until it cools off. There's a tea shop nearby where we go for breaks. Life moves along at its own pace here. We try to keep things organized but with so many boxes coming in, it’s a bit of a struggle. That’s just how it is running a business in this part of town. We are just simple people trying to make a living with what we know best.
