Sanco Garments

Sanco Garments is located at No. 2/560 in Sarker Periyapalaym. We are right across the road from Stallion Garments, so that is usually how people find us when they are driving down Uthukuli Road. It is a busy stretch of road with a lot of big trucks moving back and forth all day long. The noise is just something you get used to after working here for a few weeks. Inside the building, there are big stacks of fabric and boxes waiting to be moved out. We have a few long wooden tables where we sort through everything. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two in the afternoon, so we just sit outside in the shade and wait for it to come back on. The building is solid, but the metal roof makes a lot of noise when it rains hard. We do not have any fancy decorations on the walls. It is mostly just calendars and notes pinned up so we do not forget what needs to be done. We have a small fridge in the corner for cold water because it gets really warm in this part of the country during the summer. Everyone here knows their job, so we do not have to talk much once we get started. It is a lot of manual work, lifting and packing, but it keeps us busy every day at No. 2/560 Sarker Periyapalaym.
