Sanskriti Garments

We spend most of our time at 3/81 A V. I. P. Garden Veerapandi Post. The place is a bit tucked away, but we like it that way because it stays relatively quiet for the most part. Sanskriti Garments is basically just a few rooms where we handle all the clothes and stuff that comes through. Every morning starts with unlocking the main gate and letting some air in since it gets a bit stuffy overnight. The fans are old and they make a clicking sound, but they work fine for us. We have heaps of fabric sitting in the corners and on the tables. It’s not a showroom or anything, just where we do the actual work. The post office is nearby, so we see the mail carriers go by quite often. Sometimes the neighbor's dog comes and sits by our door. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know the routines by heart now. We eat our lunch together at the back table. Sometimes the tea from the stall around the corner is a bit too sweet, but we drink it anyway because it's a habit. The light in the afternoon hits the windows in a way that makes it hard to see for an hour, so we usually take a break then. We just keep our heads down and get the garments ready. There’s always something to fold or pack. It is just a regular day here at our spot in Veerapandi Post.
