Rado Knit Fashon

Out here at 83 P. V. G. Nagar, things are usually moving pretty fast. This part of Samundi Puram has a lot going on. Rado Knit Fashon is basically just a group of us working with knitting machines all day long. The noise is constant but you stop noticing it after a while. We started here because the space was right and it’s close to where most of us live. We don't have a big corporate sign or anything. Just the name on the door and a lot of thread everywhere. You see a lot of different colors depending on what we are making that week. Sometimes the power goes out and everything goes quiet, which is a bit of a shock. We use those breaks to grab some tea from the stall down the road. Most of our day is spent making sure the rows are straight and the machines are oiled. It gets quite warm in the summer because of all the equipment running at once. We keep the windows open but it doesn't help much. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around. We just want to get the orders done so people get their stuff on time. It is a very practical way to spend the day. There is always a lot of lint on our clothes by the time we head home. We just close up, lock the gate, and come back to do it again tomorrow.
