S T G Garments

You can find S T G Garments on Work Shop Street. It’s a busy road with a lot of mechanics and repair shops nearby, which is why they call it that. Our place is tucked in among them. We focus on garments, mostly shirts and trousers that are tough enough for people who work around here. It’s not a fashion boutique. The walls are just painted a plain color and we have metal racks holding the clothes. Sometimes the noise from the street is quite loud because of the tools and engines next door, but we got used to it long ago. We don't have many employees, usually just one or two of us at the counter. We keep the inventory simple. People come in, find their size, and pay. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy bags. It’s a practical shop for practical people. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep because of all the dust that blows in from the street. We open up early because the workers on this street start their day before most people are even awake. It’s a decent spot for us because there is always someone passing by. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just provide clothes that people can wear to work or around the house. When we have a slow afternoon, we usually sit on the bench outside and watch the traffic go by until the sun starts to set.
