S. R. K Garments

Our place is located at No. 8/3042 on Karupparayan Kovil Street, over in Pandian Nagr. Since we’re near the Pooluvapatti post office area, it’s not too hard to find us if you’re familiar with the neighborhood. S. R. K Garments is a small operation, mostly focused on getting orders done on time. The street we’re on is named after the temple nearby, so it’s got a bit of a local feel to it. Every morning, we open up the shutters and start the day by checking what needs to be finished. It’s mostly the sound of the machines and the radio playing softly in the corner. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-work, maybe sorting through some piles of fabric or checking the stitching on a new batch. We’ve been in this part of Pandian Nagr for a while, and we like being part of the community here. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for a long time. We don’t make big promises or use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make garments and try to make sure they’re put together right. It gets a bit dusty with all the lint and thread, but we sweep up at the end of the day and start over again the next morning. It's just steady, honest work that we do together.
