S. K. Collections

Our place, S. K. Collections, is over on Kangayam Road. Specifically, we're at No. 89 Valliammai Nagar, 3rd Street, near the Rakia Palayam Pirivu junction. It’s a busy spot with all the traffic going by, but our street is a bit tucked away. We’ve got a lot of different items packed into the shop. It’s a mix of all sorts of garments and things we think people will find useful. I moved the business here a few years back because the location was better for getting supplies and seeing people. We don't spend money on fancy displays or big signs. We’d rather just keep the prices where folks can afford them. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast. Working here is a daily routine of unpacking boxes and sorting through piles of stuff. Sometimes we lose track of what’s at the bottom of the stack, but we eventually find it. We aren't part of some big chain. It’s just a local shop run by local people who understand what the neighborhood needs. We know the shortcuts through the back streets and where to get the best lunch nearby. If you’re driving down Kangayam Road, you might miss the turnoff, so keep an eye out for the Valliammai Nagar sign. We’re usually around even on weekends if there’s work to finish up. Just come in and say hello to the staff.
