S. G. Fashions

We've been at No. 391 in the Sangam Complex for a while now. People in Dharapuram know the spot. It’s just a small shop where we handle clothes and different fashion items. It gets busy on weekends, especially when the sun is out and everyone is walking around the complex. We usually open up in the morning and stay until late evening. There are a lot of shelves to keep organized, which takes up a good chunk of the day. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we make do. My cousin helps out when things get really hectic during the festival seasons. We don't have a fancy website or anything, just the shop here. Most people just walk in after seeing the sign. The Sangam Complex has changed a bit over the years, more shops opening up nearby, but we’re still in the same unit. It's a lot of folding and tagging, really. Most days are pretty quiet until the afternoon rush hits. We try to keep things tidy, though it’s hard with so many boxes coming in. If you're around Dharapuram, you probably passed by us already without thinking much of it. It’s just us doing our thing here day in and day out. Nothing too complicated about it. We just keep the doors open and the racks full. Sometimes the ceiling leaks a little when it pours, but we just put a bucket out and carry on.
