S D Knits Garments

You can find S D Knits Garments over at No. 34/14 in Ramaiah Colony. We are situated on Makalaiyamman Koil Street, which is a pretty quiet area compared to the big main roads. It’s mostly houses around here, so it feels more like a neighborhood spot than a big commercial area. We’ve been working out of this space for quite some time now. The building is older, but it stays relatively cool inside even when the sun is hitting the street hard in the afternoon. Most of what we do involves knitting and getting garments ready for people who know we are back here. It isn't a place with big flashing lights or a front window display. It’s more of a workspace where things actually get made. Sometimes the street gets a bit narrow if there are cars parked on both sides, making it a bit of a squeeze to get to our door. We spend a lot of our time at the machines or checking the thread. It’s noisy when the work is going on, but that is just the sound of things getting done. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. Usually, if you walk in, you'll just see us busy with the fabric. People from the colony often drop by to see what we're working on. It is a humble setup, nothing too fancy, just a solid place where we put in our hours every single day.
