Stock Man Fashions

Our place is called Stock Man Fashions and we are located in the Sivananda Dying Compound over in Rayapuram. It is tucked away on the 2nd Street Extension. If you know the area, you know it is mostly industrial with lots of textile work going on. We share the space with other units, so there is always someone moving around or a truck backing up. Our shop is just a practical space where we handle the fashion items. It is not a place with air conditioning or soft chairs. We have benches, machines, and plenty of fabric. The lighting could be better, but it works for what we do. We spend most of the day checking the seams and making sure the sizes are right. People in the compound know us as the ones who stay late when there is a big order to finish. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. It is just me and a few others doing the daily grind. Sometimes we lose track of time when we are busy. We have been at No. 41/ 32 for a while and we like being part of the local buzz here. It is a bit loud and messy sometimes, but that is just the way garment work is. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is nothing too complicated, just making sure the clothes are ready.
