Lotus India Holdings

Lotus India Holdings is over at No. 26 Rayapuram Main Road. It’s an old building, but it suits us just fine. Being on the main road means there’s always something happening outside. We hear the buses and the street vendors all day long. Our office is a bit cluttered with folders and old ledgers. We haven't quite moved everything over to computers yet, so we still rely on a lot of paper. It’s just how we’ve always done things. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it’s on the high setting, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, maybe just a calendar and a map. We handle a variety of things here, mostly administrative work and managing some property. It’s not very exciting to talk about, but it keeps us employed. We start our day around nine and usually head home by six. Sometimes we stay later if the filing gets backed up. Rayapuram is a familiar neighborhood to us. We know the guy who delivers the mail and the lady who sells fruit on the corner. We don't have a mission statement or a set of core values pinned to the wall. We just show up and do what needs to be done. It’s a basic office for basic work. We like the simplicity of it. There is a little leak in the roof when it pours, but we keep a bucket handy.
