Perfect Garments

You can find us at No. 12 Ramaiah Colony. It’s a quieter spot compared to the big main roads, which we like. We’ve been handling garments here for years. The building is a bit older, but it serves its purpose for what we do. Inside, there’s always bits of thread on the floor and piles of fabric waiting to be dealt with. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the routine by heart. Some days are slow and we just tidy up, other days we can barely keep up with the stitching and the orders. We get our coffee from the little stall around the corner most mornings. Ramaiah Colony is a decent place to work. It feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. We know the people living next door and they know when we’re working late. We don’t do much advertising at all. Most people just know we’re here at number 12. It’s practical work. We cut, we sew, we pack. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, but that’s just life here. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just make clothes and try to stay organized in our own way. It’s a small operation, but it’s ours. We take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job without making a fuss about things.
