Our place is out on 99 Avenue in Rakkiapalayam. It's a bit away from the main town center, which is actually quite nice because it’s a bit quieter than the busy streets. We focus mostly on t-shirts here. We've been at 36/8 for several years now. It's a simple setup. We have the machines and the fabric, and we just get to work every morning. It’s not a fancy office with big desks. Most of the time, the floor is covered in bits of thread and fabric scraps. That’s just how it is when you’re making things by hand. We have a few guys who handle the printing and a couple who take care of the shipping and packing. It’s a tight-knit group of people. We don't have a lot of rules or big meetings every day. We just look at what needs to be done and get on with it. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we have to wait a bit, but that's just life in this part of town. We don't spend any money on big advertisements or marketing. Most of our work comes from people who have ordered before and liked what they got. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make decent t-shirts that people feel comfortable wearing. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed.
