R. M. Knit Garments

Looking for R. M. Knit Garments means heading over to No. 7 in Knp Subramaniam Nagar, specifically at the Pudhur Privu Main Road area. We are right opposite the Senthil Complex and very close to the Puthukadu Bus Stop. Because of the bus stop, there are always people standing around outside and a lot of buses pulling in and out, which makes the whole area quite noisy. Our building is right on the main road, so it’s easy to find but hard to park near. Inside, the roar of the traffic is replaced by the steady rhythm of our knitting machines. We have several machines lined up, and they run for most of the day to keep up with the work. The space is a bit long and narrow, so we have to be organized about where we put the raw yarn and where we stack the finished knitwear. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets a bit much, so we keep the fans going at full speed. Being opposite the Senthil Complex means we see a lot of people coming and going all day. We often grab snacks from the local vendors who set up near the bus stop. It’s a very active part of town, and we’ve become a part of the landscape here over the years. We don’t try to be anything we aren't; we’re just a small knit garment setup trying to get the orders done on time. The address is No. 7, right where the main road curves near the stop.
