K. I. T. Garments

K. I. T. Garments is situated on Pudur Road. It’s a simple building where we handle all the garment work. The road outside can get pretty hectic during the commute hours, but inside it’s mostly the sound of machines and people talking. We have been here on Pudur Road for a while now, and the shop has become a bit of a fixture in the neighborhood. It’s not a large operation, just enough of us to keep things moving. We spend our days cutting fabric, stitching, and checking for loose threads. The lighting inside is bright so we can see what we are doing, but the back rooms are a bit darker where we keep the extra rolls of cloth. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, people just know us by word of mouth. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is around here. We keep a small kettle in the corner for making coffee. It feels like a second home because we spend so many hours here every week. The floor is always covered in small scraps of thread and fabric by the end of the day. We sweep it up every evening before locking up. It’s honest work and we like the routine of it. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop, just a reliable one on Pudur Road that gets the job finished.
