Ps Godown

Ps Godown is situated on No. 1st Cross Street, just off Thattan Palladam Road. It is basically a big storage space. We spend our time moving boxes and keeping track of what comes in and what goes out. It’s a dusty kind of job. The floor is concrete, and there are high shelves everywhere. We don't have a fancy office. Most of the time we are just standing around the loading area or checking the inventory lists. Palladam Road is quite busy with trucks and traffic, so there is always a lot of noise. We’ve been at this location for a while. It’s a practical spot for a godown because it’s easy to get to from the main road. We don't really do anything flashy. It’s just about making sure things are stored safely and can be found when needed. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit tricky to load things, or a pallet gets stuck, but we manage. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and shifting items all day. We keep the big doors open most of the time to get some air inside because it gets stuffy. It’s a simple operation. We just focus on the storage and the daily movement of goods. There aren't many frills here, just the work and the space we have on 1st Cross Street. We just try to stay organized.
