Priyanka Lace & Zippers

You can find us at number 105 on the 50 Feet Road in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a pretty easy street to find if you know the area at all. We’ve been here at Priyanka Lace & Zippers for a good while. The shop is filled with all sorts of small things like zips and different kinds of lace. It can look a bit messy to someone walking in from the street, but there is a system to where everything is kept. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the inventory. People from the neighborhood stop in when they need something specific for their sewing projects. It’s a practical kind of business. We don't spend money on fancy displays or shiny floors. The counter is a bit worn out from years of use, but it holds up fine. We like being in Laxmi Nagar because it’s a lively spot with lots of other shops around. Sometimes the 50 Feet Road gets really crowded with scooters and delivery trucks, making it hard to park right in front. We just deal with it. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people. We try to be helpful when someone can't find a particular color or size. That’s about all there is to it. We usually keep the radio on low in the back to pass the time.
