Tharani Garments

Tharani Garments is situated at No. 8/689-A. We are right near Vigneshwara Nagar, which is a landmark most people in the area know well. Our paperwork actually says near Vigneshwara Nagar twice, which always makes us chuckle a little bit. Our place is technically in the Pooluvapatti PO area. It’s a hub for garment work, and we are right in the middle of it. Inside the building, you will hear the constant hum of sewing machines going. We have piles of fabric in different colors and textures stacked up in the corners. There is usually thread all over the floor by the end of the shift, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. Being in this part of town means we get a fair amount of foot traffic, and people often stop in to ask about what we are making that week. We don't have a showroom or anything fancy like that. It’s just a workshop where we cut, sew, and finish the clothes. The lighting is bright so we don't miss any stitches. Most of us have been working with fabric for years, so our hands just move on their own now. Sometimes when we have a big order to finish, we stay a bit later and the whole place is glowing in the dark. We take pride in just getting the job done right without a lot of fuss. It is a simple life here.
