Ess Pee Knit

If you head down P. N. Road towards Pongupalayam Post, you will find us at Ess Pee Knit. We are located at No. 8/160 D. Ayyampalayam. It's right near the Andavar Service Station, which is usually how people find us when they get lost looking for the address. We have been here for a good while now. Knitting is what we do every single day. The machines make a lot of noise, but you get used to it after the first week of working here. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making quality knitwear for the market. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a big order comes in at the last minute and we have to stay late. Our space isn't huge, but it's enough for what we need to get the job done. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. Most of our work comes from people who know us or heard about us from someone else. We just like to keep our heads down and stay busy with the yarn. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks when things get a bit stressful. It’s a simple life really. We care about the fabric and making sure the stitching is tight. Nothing leaves this place if it doesn't look right to us. We’ve had ups and downs like any other business, but we are still here in Ayyampalayam.
