Pks Fashion

Pks Fashion is over at No. 22/31 Jawahar Nagar First Street, in Chandracolony. It is a mostly residential area, so it stays a bit quieter than the main markets, which we actually quite like. Our workspace is part of the neighborhood fabric. You can usually find us there from early morning until late in the evening. The shop itself is nothing too fancy. We have our sewing machines set up near the windows to catch the natural light, and there are piles of fabric tucked into every corner. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, but it is a productive mess. We have been doing this for a long time, so we have seen the fashions change over and over. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or people from the next street over. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work on their clothes. It is a very personal way of doing things. Sometimes we get a bit behind on our work when the power cuts out, but we just make it up by staying later at night. The sound of the machines is like background music to us now. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and our name. It is a small business run by people who actually care about the physical work. We just keep our heads down and keep sewing until the day is over.
