Aeon Garments

We are located at number 1/2 on Uzhavarchandhi Road in the Pitchampalayam area. It is a bit of a dusty road and there is always some kind of construction or activity going on right outside. The building itself is not very new, so we have to deal with some leaky pipes or cracked walls every now and then. We mostly focus our time on making shirts and simple pants. There are about six of us working here on a regular basis. The cutting tables are very long and made of heavy wood, which we use for laying out the fabric. We have a small radio on the shelf that only picks up one station clearly, so we listen to that most of the day. It is not a fancy setup at all. We have wooden shelves on the walls that are sagging a bit under the weight of the heavy cloth rolls. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on the front steps until it comes back on. The neighborhood is very friendly, and we know most of the people who walk past our door every single day. We do not really do much in the way of advertising; people around here just know we are here. It is hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we get the orders done eventually. We spend a lot of time just checking the seams.
