You can find Veenus Fashions at No. 60/90 on Vinoba Nagar 3rd Street. We are located in the Perichipalayam area, just off Dharapuram Road. This is a residential and commercial mix, so you see families living right next to small workshops like ours. It makes the neighborhood feel alive. Our building is a simple structure. We have sewing machines lined up and a big table in the center for cutting the fabric. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't use high-tech gadgets or anything like that. Just scissors, needles, and thread. Sometimes the bobbins get jammed and we have to spend ten minutes fixing them, which is annoying but happens to everyone. The street outside is narrow, so parking is always a struggle. We usually just tell people to park further down and walk over. We have a small crew here. Some of us have been working together for years, so we don't even have to talk much to know what needs doing. We listen to the radio while we work, mostly just local stations with music and news. It keeps the energy up during the long afternoons. When the monsoon rains come, the sound on the tin roof is so loud we can barely hear ourselves think. We just keep sewing anyway. It’s steady work. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a reliable one.
