You can find Richwin Gaarments at 3/9(4) Somu Layout on Perichipalayam Dharapuram Road. The road is always humming with the sound of bikes and lorries. Our unit is tucked away in the layout, so it’s slightly removed from the direct dust of the main road. We have a small group of workers who have been with us through thick and thin. The work is mostly sewing and finishing garments. It’s a lot of repetitive motion, but we take pride in just doing a solid job. The space is filled with piles of cloth and bobbins of thread. We don’t have any receptionists or marketing teams. If you come by, you’ll likely find us on the floor working alongside everyone else. We eat our lunch together in the corner. The building isn’t new, and it has its quirks, like a leaky pipe we’ve been meaning to fix or a door that squeaks. But it serves its purpose for us. We stay late when there is a deadline, and sometimes we leave early if the power goes out. That’s just the way it goes here. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just a local garment unit in Perichipalayam trying to keep the machines running and the work coming in. It’s a simple, busy life at Somu Layout.
