Shrine Knit And Gel Knit Wear

We’ve been at S. F No- 147 C. L Avenue for a while now. Manarai is where we do all the knitting for Shrine Knit And Gel Knit Wear. It’s a busy spot near Parappalayam Piriuv. Most days are spent looking at machines and checking the yarn quality. It's not fancy here. We just focus on getting the knitwear done right. Sometimes the weather makes it hot in the shop, but we keep moving. Folks around here know where to find us. We handle both the Shrine and Gel sides of the business from this same building. It’s mostly just us working through orders. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a big shipment is due. My hands are usually a bit rough from the fabric. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. Just the workspace and the machines. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We started small and stayed that way, mostly because we like knowing exactly what’s going out the door. If you walk past the P. O. you’ll see our gate. It’s nothing special to look at, just a place where work happens. We try to keep things organized but with all the fabric rolls, it gets crowded. That’s just how a knitting unit is. We put in the hours and hope the clothes hold up for the people who buy them.
