Vertex Fashion

Vertex Fashion is over at No. 18/2 on 5th Street in Ayyan Nagar. We are part of the Karuvalayam community and have been here for some time now. Our building is just like any other on the street, and we mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the work. We handle a lot of different clothing items, and the place is usually full of racks and boxes waiting to be sorted. It’s not a very organized look, but we know where everything is. The noise from the sewing machines can be a bit much in the afternoons, but that’s just the sound of us getting things done. We don't have any fancy mission statements or things like that. We just want to make sure the clothes we put out are wearable and done right. Sometimes we run out of thread or a button machine breaks, and we just have to figure it out as we go. Working in Ayyan Nagar means we see the same people every day, and we like that local feel. It’s not a corporate environment at all; it’s more like a family workshop. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the orders that come in. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. We don't do much advertising, we just let the work speak for itself in our own way without any fuss.
