Paps Apparels

Paps Apparels is over here in Ramabiran Colony, specifically at 693/2 along Dharapuram Road. It's not a place you’d find if you weren't looking for it, tucked away a bit. We started this because we needed a place to work on clothes and this spot worked out. The building is just a standard one, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside is where all the machines are set up. You can hear the hum of them from the street if the door is open. We mostly focus on getting the garments finished and ready to go out. It's a lot of sitting and checking seams. Sometimes the tea break is the best part of the morning. We have a small group of workers who live nearby. It makes things easier for everyone. The road outside can get pretty dusty with all the traffic heading towards Dharapuram. We try to keep the dust off the fabric, but it’s a constant battle. We don’t have a website or any of that. We just do the work we’ve always done. People know us in the colony for being the place that’s always busy with thread and needles. It’s a steady kind of life, and we like it that way. We aren't looking to expand into some giant company, we just want to keep the machines running well.
