Finger Fashion

Finger Fashion is based at No. 13-a on Pillayar Kovil Street. We are in the Palayakkadu area, right near Uthukuli Road. It is a lively part of the neighborhood with a lot of shops and houses all mixed together. We do a lot of garment work here. The shop is filled with the sound of sewing machines from early morning until the evening. We have stacks of fabric in every corner, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of space. We are not a big corporation with a lot of rules. We just come in, see what needs to be sewn, and get to it. My sister helps me with the accounts, though we are both usually on the floor helping with the stitching when things get busy. The street outside is always full of people going to the temple, so there is a nice energy to the place. We don't really do any advertising or social media. We just depend on people seeing our sign and coming in. We spend a lot of time making sure the seams are straight and the fabric is cut right. It is tiring work, and our backs often ache by the end of the day. But we have been doing this for years, and it is what we know. We are just a local business trying to stay busy and do right by our customers in Palayakkadu. It is not always easy, but it is our work.
