Jayadev Tiles

If you are looking for Jayadev Tiles, you will find us at No. 474 P. N. Road. We are right next to the Canara Bank and very close to the railway station. You can hear the trains passing by all day long, but you eventually stop noticing the noise after working here for a while. The shop is packed with heavy crates. A lot of our time goes into shifting these tiles around so people can get a good look at the different patterns. Honestly, it is quite hard on the back. We try our best to keep the dust under control, but stone and ceramic products always leave a bit of a mess behind. A broom is never far from reach. Being near the bank is helpful because it acts as a landmark for anyone who doesn't know this side of town. The sidewalk out front can get a bit tight when a truck is trying to unload new stock. We just work with the space we have. There isn't any room for a lounge or a big display area, so people usually just stand around and talk while looking at the samples. In the back, there is a small desk where we keep the phone and the ledger. It is a very basic operation. We open up early and stay until the station traffic starts to quiet down. We just keep the shelves full and the floor swept.
