Omega Apparels

Omega Apparels is based out of No. 548 in the Samiar Ginning Compound on Palladam Road. If you have ever driven down Palladam Road, you know it is a major route with a lot of trucks and activity. The compound itself is quite large and has several different businesses operating inside. We have our setup in one of the older sections. It is a practical space, mostly concrete and high ceilings which helps a bit when the sun is really beating down on the roof. We spend our time working on various apparel orders that come in. There is a lot of manual work involved, from checking the fabric to making sure the stitching is okay. It is not like those modern factories you see on TV; it is more of a hands-on, slightly messy environment. We have some long-time workers who have been with us since we started at this location. We usually have the radio playing in the background to make the day go by faster. Sometimes the trucks blocking the entrance to the compound make it hard to get deliveries in, but we just wait it out. It is a busy place and we are just one part of the whole ecosystem here on the road. We do our work, talk to the vendors, and go home tired. It is just the way things are done around here.
