Shri Abirami Garments

I'm writing this from our spot at No. 16/41 Muthusamy Street. It is right in the K. N. P. Puram area, specifically Oddakadu. Shri Abirami Garments has been here for a while now. Most days you'll find us busy with the clothes and the stitching. We started this small place because we needed something to do in the neighborhood. It is not a huge factory or anything like that. Just a shop where we handle garments. People walk in from the street, sometimes they are looking for something specific, sometimes they just want to see what is new on the racks. The street outside can get a bit loud with the traffic and the neighbors talking, but that is just how it is here. We have stacks of fabric and finished pieces all over. It gets a bit crowded when a big order comes in. My hands are usually covered in thread or lint by the end of the day. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It is just us here in Oddakadu. If you are walking down Muthusamy Street, you will see our sign. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of clothes grow faster than we can fold them. It’s a simple life running a garment business. We focus on getting the work done and making sure the counts are right. It’s what we know how to do best. I guess we are just a regular part of the neighborhood landscape here.
